TIPS TO WRITE A GREAT TESTIMONIAL FOR YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
Testimonials and reviews are pivotal to the continued success of small businesses like mine, as they really help new clients to trust that they will have a positive experience if they choose to book with us. Here are a few tips that will help you write an incredible testimonial in a limited time.
%95 of people take the time to read the reviews before they choose to purchase a service or product. People trust the reviews as much as they trust friends and family recommendations. Consistent positive google or facebook reviews from clients can improve a business visibility and increase the likelihood to appear higher in local search rankings.
Feedback and reviews give us as a team a valuable insight that will help us improve the experience and our services for future clients. Also, it’s important to know the impact of a negative review for a small business. Just make sure, if there is any constructive feedback or negative experience reach out to us first and give us a chance to resolve the issue. Explain the issue in a kind way instead of a negative post online. We as a team work very hard to go above and beyond and make sure to create the best possible experience for all of our clients.
How should I write my testimonial?
A very important note: Google and Facebook flag and hide any reviews that have the word “shoot” in it. Make sure to avoid using the words "shooting, shot and shoot", when writing a review. Instead, use “photoshoot” as one word or "photo session, portrait session, portrait or Image, and photo" when describing your experience. Also, ask your photographer to make sure they see the review on their end.
